Former Fellow Aaron Halegua (’09) organized a series for ChinaFile examining the labor implications of China’s “Belt and Road Initiative,” including a piece he authored about Saipan workers. In addition, Aaron was quoted in an article in the South China Morning Post about the exploitation of foreign Chinese workers in Saipan (“‘American Dream’ Becomes a Nightmare for Chinese Workers Left Stranded in Saipan,” Dec. 27).
