Former Fellow Paul Sonn (’94) was quoted in a New York Times article detailing how Walmart will allow its employees to access its paychecks prior to their scheduled pay days (“Walmart Will Let Its 1.4 Million Workers Take Their Pay Before Payday,” Dec. 13). Paul said while the measure is useful for workers, it doesn’t address the fundamental problem of low wages in the company.
