Fellows Helps Restore Client’s DACA Status

Fellow David Hausman (’16) and former Fellows Jennifer Chang Newell (’04) and Michael Tan (’10) helped win a preliminary injunction from a California district court restoring their client’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals status and employment authorization documents. The Department of Homeland Security revoked his DACA status after he was accused of human smuggling, even though a judge promptly rejected the allegation and he was never charged.
