Toby Merrill Supports Rights of Students Defrauded by Colleges

Former Fellow Toby Merrill (’12) of Harvard’s Project on Predatory Student Lending was quoted in a U.S. News & World Report article about a lawsuit against the Education Department seeking new recourse for students defrauded by for-profit colleges (“Lawsuit Seeks New Recourse on For-Profit College Fraud,” Nov. 12). “The legal rights of borrowers ... are enforceable against the government just as they are against private parties,” said Toby.
