Fellow Amanda Merkwae ('16) was featured in a One Day Magazine article that described her project providing direct representation of special education and general education students in suspension and exclusion proceedings in Milwaukee schools ("Choosing to Fight in Milwaukee," Oct. 11). Amanda is "employing a prestigious legal fellowship to interrupt the school-to-prison pipeline," the article said.
