An article authored by former Fellow Haben Girma ('13) was published in the Financial Times ("Break Down Disability Barriers to Spur Growth and Innovation," Sept. 13). The article said that people with disabilities sparked the creation of many of the technologies we use today. "Old myths allege that people with disabilities are a burden on society," the article said. "Contrary to those myths, we now know that difference drives innovation."
