Former Skadden Fellow Heather Way ('97) appeared on NPR's "All Things Considered" to discuss how people affected by Hurricane Harvey may face difficulty getting government aid to rebuild if they can't prove they owned their homes ("How Clouded Titles Affect Low-Income Victims Of Disasters," Sept. 2). Heather identified "clouded titles," in which there is no clear paper trail documenting who owns a property, as "a big problem in low-income communities."
