Andrew Hammond Pens Letter In Support of Food Stamp Program

Skadden Fellow Andrew Hammond ('16) penned a letter that was featured in the Chicago Tribune asking that the governor of Illinois renew a federal waiver to keep 260,000 people from losing access to food stamps for a three-month period ("For the Hungry," Aug. 21). Andrew, who is doing his fellowship at the Sargent Shriver National Center on Poverty Law in Chicago, says "renewing the waiver will not cost Illinois one dime."
