The successful efforts of former Skadden Fellow and Montana State Senator Cynthia Wolken ('06) to pass progressive criminal reform bills were featured in an article by the Missoulian ("How Republican Legislature Adopted Progressive Criminal Justice Reform," July 15). "All told, Wolken sponsored eight successful bills in the senate," the article said, including measures meant to reduce corrections spending. Cynthia told the Missoulian, "We haven't had this kind of reform in 50 years."
