Andrew Hammond Discusses Immigrants Opting Out of Food Stamps

Skadden Fellow Andrew Hammond ('16) was quoted in an Associated Press article on recent choices by nonlegal residents to opt out of federal food assistance because they are fearful of deportation ("Fear of Deportation Drives People Off Food Stamps in US," June 6). The decisions to opt out mean "less food on the table ... in houses where the kids have rights because they are U.S. citizens," Andrew said.
