Incoming Fellow Tarra Simmons ('17) — Seattle University School of Law's first-ever Skadden Fellow — was profiled by The Am Law Daily ("First Prison, Then a Skadden Fellowship," March 2). Tarra enrolled in a J.D. program after serving 20 months in prison for drug offenses. She will soon spend two years working at the Public Defender Association in Seattle on re-entry issues for formerly incarcerated persons.
