Former Skadden Fellow Shira Wakschlag ('10) was quoted in the Hartford Courant about a Connecticut court decision cutting funding for special needs education ("Parents of Special Needs Children Join Appeal of Education Funding Decision," Jan. 28). Shira said the decision violates federal law and "flies in the face of research that says that even children who do not look like they are learning are taking in information."
