James Freeman Helps Produce Report on Cost of Mass Incarceration

Former Skadden fellow James Freeman ('04), executive director of Grassroots Action Support Team, assisted in creating a report titled "The $3.4 Trillion Mistake: The Cost of Mass Incarceration and Criminalization, and How Justice Reinvestment Can Build a Better Future for All." He also helped contribute a piece, "It's About Power, Not Policy: Movement Lawyering for Large-Scale Social Change," for the Clinical Law Review's celebration of the 25th anniversary of Gerald Lopez's Rebellious Lawyering.
