Former Skadden fellow Christopher Wilmes ('05) successfully defended the appeal of a victory he helped secure in a jury trial involving an immigrant woman who was fired from her job as a janitor based on a 10-year-old criminal charge that was dismissed by the court. The city of Chicago must pay Christopher's client over $100,000, plus attorneys' fees.
