Former Skadden fellow Heather Way (‘97) of the University of Texas School of Law was quoted in a New York Times article about "contracts for deed" home sales ("'Contract for Deed' Lending Gets Federal Scrutiny," May 10). Heather called this segment of the market "a toxic mix ... of sellers looking to make a quick and easy buck on the shoulders of vulnerable, unsophisticated buyers."
