Former Skadden fellow Elizabeth Saylor ('02) of Emery Celli Brinckerhoff & Abady helped obtain $23.78 million from New York City and state in civil litigation on behalf of two men wrongfully convicted in the "Bronx Six" case. Previously, Elizabeth helped obtain $6.7 million in settlements for the estate of another man wrongfully accused of the same murders. The settlements have been covered by The New York Times, among others.
