Tanya Kessler Speaks on Relocation of 'Three-Quarter' Tenants

Former Skadden fellow Tanya Kessler ('09) of MFY Legal Services, Inc. was quoted in a New York Times article about New York City's $5 million pledge to move and relocate tenants out of "three-quarter" homes, overcrowded housing that purports to provide support services and counseling to people who have been incarcerated or are in drug treatment programs. "We really hope that this will be a financial commitment that can transform the situation for three-quarter house tenants and that people really have the opportunity to move on to better housing and to see dramatically improved physical conditions," Tanya said.
