A lawsuit filed by former Skadden fellow Elizabeth Saylor ('02) in conjunction with the Brennan Center for Justice and a bipartisan group of New York state legislators was featured in a New York Times article ("Bipartisan Group Sues to Close New York's Corporate Donation Loophole," July 14). The suit seeks to rescind a 1996 law that allows donors to make large contributions to election campaigns through the creation of multiple LLCs.
