Suzanne Goldberg Discusses Thomas' Return to NY Basketball

Former Skadden Fellow Suzanne Goldberg ('91), director of Columbia Law School's Center for Gender & Sexuality Law, was quoted in a New York Times article about New York Knicks owner James Dolan's announcement that Isiah Thomas, who was found guilty of sexual harassment, would serve as president of the Women's National Basketball Association's Liberty team ("James Dolan Gives an Executive Another Shot, Deserved or Not," May 5). Dolan maintains that Thomas is innocent. "It's surprising that a company whose fan base is primarily women would not directly express itself on this question," Suzanne said. "You would expect the Knicks to be upfront about affirming a basketball environment free from sexual harassment."
