Former Skadden Fellow Sharon Kalemkiarian ('91) was sworn in on December 29 as San Diego's newest Superior Court judge. Sharon  was a partner at Ashworth, Blanchet, Christenson and Kalemkiarian for the past 14 years before being appointed to the bench by Gov. Jerry Brown. The appointment was covered in the Times of San Diego ("Former UD Prof Sworn In as Superior Court Judge," December 29). Sharon was a Skadden Fellow at the Legal Aid Society of San Diego from 1991 to 1993.
