Former Fellow Steven Choi ('04) was quoted in The New York Times in an article concerning the rise of unaccompanied minors who have illegally crossed the border from Mexico in recent months, prompting the Obama administration to declare a humanitarian crisis and open three emergency shelters on military bases in California, Oklahoma and Texas ("Surge in Child Migrants Reaches New York, Overwhelming Advocates," June 17). "It's almost like a refugee crisis," said Steven, who is the executive director of the New York Immigration Coalition.
