Former Skadden Fellow Suzanne Goldberg ('91) was quoted in a front-page New York Times article about the pressure placed on the U.S. Supreme Court to make a decision regarding same-sex marriage following decisions by judges in states like Virginia striking down bans on the practice ("A Steady Path to Supreme Court as Gay Marriage Gains Momentum in States," Feb. 14). "The pace of change has perhaps outstripped the Supreme Court's preferences, but the momentum is tremendous," said Suzanne, who directs the Center for Gender and Sexuality Law at Columbia Law School.
