Jim Freeman Named for Spot on Advisory Commission on Educational Excellence for African Americans

On Jan. 16, President Obama announced his intention to appoint former Skadden Fellow Jim Freeman (’04), along with 14 other individuals, to the President’s Advisory Commission on Educational Excellence for African Americans. According to the White House, the commission is “charged with strengthening the nation by improving educational outcomes for African Americans to ensure that all African Americans receive an education that prepares them for college, productive careers, and satisfying lives.”
