Former Skadden Fellow Meredith Desautels (’10), a staff attorney at San Francisco’s Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights, was included among The Recorder’s “50 Lawyers on the Fast Track,” “whose early accomplishments indicate they will be tomorrow’s top lawyers and leaders.” Regarding Meredith, The Recorder said, “Desautels bridges the gap between prison release and productive re-entry for the formerly incarcerated. Blending advocacy with activism, she created the Second Chance Legal Clinic, a program that pairs pro bono attorneys with clients who face employment and other barriers after serving time.”
