Andrew Friedman Supports Immigrant-Assistance Initiative

Former Skadden Fellow Andrew Friedman (’98) was quoted in a New York Times article about two new immigrant-assistance initiatives in New York City that will receive public funds (“City to Help Immigrants Seeking Deportation Reprieves,” July 17). Andrew, who serves as executive director of Center for Popular Democracy, which lobbied for the funds to support the initiative, said it will not only keep families together, but will also create “an innovative model program” for other cities to replicate.
